Cleaning process of plate heat exchangers
1. Isolate the equipment system and drain the water inside the heat exchanger thoroughly.
2. Use high-pressure water to clean any impurities such as silt and algae in the pipeline, and then close the system.
3. Install ball valves (not less than 1 inch=2.54 centimeters) between the isolation valve and the exchanger, and install both inlet and outlet ports.
4. Connect the transfer pump and connecting conduit to pump the cleaning agent in from the bottom of the heat exchanger and out from the top.
5. Start pumping the required Fushitek cleaning agent into the heat exchanger (the proportion can be adjusted according to specific circumstances).
6. Repeat the cycle of cleaning until the recommended cleaning time is reached. As the cycle progresses and sediment dissolves, the amount of gas produced during the reaction will also increase. Excess air should be discharged at any time through a vent valve. As the air is discharged, the space inside the heat exchanger will increase. It is recommended to add appropriate water instead of injecting a large amount of water at the beginning, as it may cause water overflow.
7. Regularly check the effectiveness of the cleaning agent during the cycle, which can be measured using a pH test strip. If the solution remains at a pH value of 2-3, then the cleaning agent is still effective. If the pH value of the cleaning agent reaches 5-6, an appropriate amount of Forsytek cleaning agent needs to be added. The pH value of the final solution remained unchanged for 30 minutes at 2-3, indicating that the cleaning effect was achieved. Attention: Fositek cleaning agents can be recycled and reused, and discharge can cause waste.
After reaching the cleaning time, recover the cleaning solution. Rinse the exchanger repeatedly with clean water until it is completely neutral. Measure the pH value of 6-7 using a pH test strip
After completing the cleaning, it can be turned on and run. You can also conduct a pressure test to see if there is any leakage. If there is a leak, Meijiahua polymer composite material can be used for repair and protection, which can greatly extend the service life of the equipment.
10. After the equipment is stable, record the current medium flow rate, working pressure, heat exchange efficiency, and other data.
By comparing the changes in values before and after cleaning, one can calculate the hourly production costs such as electricity and coal costs saved by the enterprise, as well as the improved work efficiency. This is precisely the value compensation for the enterprise's adoption of Fositek technology.
The same operating method can also be used for cleaning condensers and frame type heat exchangers.
13. If the enterprise needs equipment for passivation pre film treatment, the following process can be followed: pump the passivation pre film agent into the equipment according to the recommended dilution ratio (while hanging test pieces in the circulation tank); Cycle and soak according to recommended time; Test the pre film effect (red dot method or blue dot method); Emissions; Rinse thoroughly with water until neutral (measure the pH value of 6-7 using a pH test strip).
After the passivation pre film is completed, it is best to use ventilation equipment such as a fan to blow dry the system, which can ensure and improve the passivation pre film effect.
