Refrigeration

Sanhua offers a full range of brazed plate heat exchangers aimed at providing the highest COP (energy efficiency ratio) and lowest lifecycle cost, with their main application areas including supermarket refrigeration and refrigerated transportation.

Supermarket

In the past decade, we have seen the continuous expansion of new technologies that use CO2 as a refrigerant and secondary cooling medium, along with traditional DX refrigeration systems. The supermarket system is divided into two temperature levels - MT and LT:

MT: The temperature of the display cabinet and refrigeration room is+6-0 ° C

LT: The temperature of the display cabinet and refrigeration room is -18 to -24 ° C

The system design aims to meet the above two temperature ranges. In these systems, R134a is typically used as the refrigerant within the MT temperature range, while CO2 condensed through a cascaded brazed plate heat exchanger is used as the refrigerant within the LT temperature range. In hot countries and regions, heat pump systems using CO2 as the cooling medium are used because the system saves costs in terms of pipeline size and improves efficiency. In emerging markets, supermarket refrigeration systems are typically manufactured using brine coolers to ensure the circulation of ethylene glycol through centrifugal pumps.

Refrigerated transportation

There are two types of transportation:

① Sea freight containers

② Trucks and trailers

In these refrigeration systems, the main challenge is the large-scale operational packaging of equipment units. The required temperature is usually between+7 ° C and -24 ° C. Our products suitable for this application are as follows:

Inhalation gas heat exchanger

The reason for installing these brazed plate heat exchangers is that these additional features can improve system efficiency - proving an increase in the complexity of the circuit. The refrigerants used are R134a and R404A.
